MEXICO POCITOS NATURAL GEISHA

A Cup of Excellence winner from Mexico's Veracruz region. This rare Geisha varietal underwent 36-hour anaerobic fermentation, delivering extraordinary papaya, lemon, and lotus notes. Limited availability.

The Story

From the renowned Finca Pocitos in Veracruz, Mexico, this exceptional Geisha is crafted by Carlos Cadena Valdivia - a third-generation coffee producer who won first place in Mexico's 2024 Cup of Excellence in the experimental category. This is specialty coffee at its finest.

The cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness (25° Brix), floated to remove any defects, then subjected to a 36-hour anaerobic fermentation. After fermentation, the coffee is dried in full sun before undergoing 30 days of slow, shaded drying - a meticulous process that develops the coffee's layered fruit and floral characteristics with refined clarity and depth.
